Terms and Conditions

 
  • Special Occasion Hair and or makeup includes a $50 non-refundable booking fee and is required to reserve your appointment. The booking fee must be paid within 48 hours of booking, via bank transfer to the account provided.

  • Wedding Hair and or Makeup includes a $100 non-refundable booking fee and is required to reserve your appointment. The booking fee must be paid within 48 hours of booking, via bank transfer to the account provided.

  • COVID 19 - Any cancellation of weddings, formals and special occasions due to COVID19 no refund will be available for the booking fee if notice is within 7 days of event, however your booking fee is transferable to a new future date

  • COVID 19 - If you cancel your booking due to covid reasons and is outside 7days from your event a full refund will be reimbursed 

  • COVID 19 please cancel any booking where you or anyone in your booking party are unwell

  • If paying via bank transfer, the final payment must be made before the booking date into the account provided. Payment can also be paid via  cash on the day. Please note: I do not carry change, so if you choose to pay cash, ensure you have the correct amount.

  • Eftpos is available to anyone who wishes to pay the final amount, it does attract a 1.9% surcharge that will be added you the cost of your service

  • Once the booking fee is paid there can be no reduction to the number of services being provided on the day, if someone can no longer have their hair and or makeup done they can be swapped out for someone else, if a substitute cannot be found the booking party will still need to pay for this service. 

  • I agree to be available at the time requested and appreciate the same courtesy.  If you think you may not be able to meet at the agreed time please contact me by mobile at your earliest convenience.   Due to multiple bookings, I need to remain on schedule and therefore need to apply a late fee when necessary:

  • 15min  $20

  • 30mins or longer $50

  • 1 hour or longer the appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited

  • Appointments before 7am incur an additional cost dependent on start time.

  • Appointments located more than 45 mins from Alexandra Hills Qld 4161 incur an additional fee dependant on distance travelled.

  • Client/s must pay for any Barge or Ferry costs incurred whilst travelling to appointment location.

  • To make this arrangement as smooth as possible, it is necessary for the client/s to coordinate parking. If this is not possible, then notification is required two days prior to date of service so alternative arrangements can be made. Any costs incurred are to be reimbursed by the client/s.

  • Client/s must provide a power point and table .

  • Whilst all care is taken to sanitise equipment after each application, and all products are of a professional standard, each client is obliged to disclose any skin conditions or allergies etc prior to receiving services.

  • Client/s agree to release makeup artist (Courtney Houston Hair and Makeup Artist) from liability for any skin complications that result from an allergic reaction.

  • As a client of Courtney Houston Hair and Makeup Artist you agree to allow Courtney, or any of her assistants, to use any photos taken on her/their phone or camera to be used on social media or on her website, unless otherwise specified by client/s e.g. before and after photos

  • By paying the deposit you agree to the terms and conditions set out above
